Hi-Fi: Favorable signal to noise ratio in which discrete sound objects float above ambient noise.

Lo-Fi: White noise, pink noise and sound walls, a density of ambient noise obscuring specific sound objects.

These drawings are transcriptions of sounds, unique to the environment in which they were produced.

The practice of bare attention is a lucid meditation that allows the body to be a conduit between sound and image. When drawing, I am aware of the materiality of the page as my hand drags across its surface. The act of drawing, in turn, produces the sound of its own making, creating a feedback loop of auditory and tactile information.
