Hi-Fi: favorable signal to noise ratio in which discrete sound objects float above ambient noise.

As a generative tool, I practice bare attention, a lucid meditation that allows the body to act as a conduit between the sound and image world.

Each drawing is a direct transcription of auditory content received from the immediate environment. Always, I am aware of the materiality of the page as
my hand drags across its surface – the gesture of drawing, in turn, producing the sound of its own making. A feedback loop of aural and tactile information.

The resulting images are microcosmic translations of emergent sounds, particular to the urban soundscape.
